Hello everyone! Here we are clicking through the internet on our mouse, but is your mouse a GOOD mouse or just a regular mouse? You may say, “oh a mouse isn’t that big of a deal” but you are incredibly wrong. The mouse is the most used accessory for your computer so why ever go cheap there is beyond me with mice such as this Razer DeathAdder Chroma review shows. There are different styles, shapes, sizes, you name it because you spent almost the entire time you’re on a computer using your mouse.

Do You Mouse?

I like to go over the negatives first so that way I’m not wasting your time. Let’s go ahead and shoot down the biggest problems I have seen with this mouse and we will see who survives till the end.

  1. LED is kind of bland
  2. Not a lot of extra buttons
  3. The software is kind of useless unless you like stats
  4. Really basic look
  5. The cord is annoying
  6. Fairly large
  7. Expensive

I could honestly see why you wouldn’t want to buy this mouse. It’s not very aesthetically pleasing and customization is extremely limited. BUT wait, there is a lot of good I promise!! This mouse has been one of the most iconic ones of the gaming age.

Razer DeathAdder Chroma Review

The Razer DeathAdder Chroma can be used for anything. Gaming, surfing, you name it and it’s useful. There are only 5 buttons-the left and right, scroll wheel, and two side mouse buttons. The Razer DeathAdder Chroma edition is equipped with a braided cable to sheathe the cord and a 10,000 DPI (Dots per inch

) sensor. The reason why this mouse has been such an amazing, dominating mouse in the industry for years is that it does offer incredible comfortability. The mouse is extremely smooth and soothes the hand no matter what style of grip you use.

Know Your Grip

Everyone grips the mouse differently. Keep a close eye the next time you watch someone move the mouse and you will notice, there are 3 major ones and I will briefly touch on them, but you can read more here.

The three basic grips are:

  1. The Palm Grip – You place your palm all the way up on the back of the mouse
  2. The Claw Grip – You Arch your hand above the mouse and use fingertips to press buttons
  3. The Fingertip Grip – You use only your fingertips and your palm is completely off the mouse.

The mouse is also huge. All the buttons are fairly oversized and very easy to push. There is a left-handed version out, but it does lack some of the features of the right-handed one. The DPI is insane, and this mouse is mostly preferred by FPS shooters and is the most notable around.

The Last Click

Hopefully, you liked this Razer DeathAdder Chroma review as much as we did. It’s so barebones and minimalistic but makes a big statement. Adding this accessory to your computer or computer build would definitely be a big plus, however, Corsair does offer some extremely great mice as well.

  1. Thank you for your information. As someone who spends multiple hours on the computer a day, I tend to agree that we need a mouse of great quality as well as comfort. I think this would be one I am willing to try.
I would like to know if the cord could be compensated by the comfort of using this mouse?
I don’t care about the look or how many buttons. As long as it is comfortable, scrolls and clicks then I am ok with that.

    • Yes, the cord is very thick but not wiry. It doesn’t tangle up and stays straight all the time, but that is the problem. It is weighed down so you need a kind of stopper for it. Thank you for the comment!
